The Big Five Test provides a free personality test based on the public-domain IPIP-NEO-60 inventory, along with related articles. It is free to use, requires no account, and displays your results instantly in your browser.
Not professional advice
The test and its results are provided for education, self-reflection, and general interest only. They are not a psychological, medical, or clinical assessment, and they are not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. Accuracy
The Big Five model is well-validated, and we've built the test carefully, but no personality test is perfect. Results depend on how honestly and consistently you answer, and are best read as a thoughtful description rather than a definitive verdict.
Intellectual property
The underlying IPIP-NEO items are in the public domain. The site's original text, design, illustrations, and code are owned by The Big Five Test. You're welcome to share links to the site and to share your own results. Please don't copy, scrape, or republish the site's content wholesale without permission.
Acceptable use
Don't use the site in any way that is unlawful, that attempts to disrupt or overload it, or that attempts to break its security or access data that isn't yours.
No warranty; limitation of liability
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Big Five Test is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on your results.
